Outfit of the day : hot white

It was sooooooooooo hot today....

Time to wear a hat, shorts and time to wear white !

The hat is from a supermarket, grrr, i don't remember. It is a hat made of crocheted raffia. I love it, i wear it with shorts, some dresses, jeans. I have searched such a hat a loooong time. All the ones i was finding were somehow too loose or too big...This one is perfect :)

I wear a white top from NYorker. I love this shop! I always find something to buy.

The shorts are from Pimkie. You can really find great shorts and pants at Pimkie. I also love their jeans. The brown belt also comes from Pimkie.

I wish i could have worn all this paired with a pair of browm or golden gladiator shoes but grrrrrr i don't find the pair of my dreams...so i stick to my old flip flops :P

My necklace is a gift from one of my bestfriend's mom. The circle is made of some rock which is supposed to be good for me. It is brown again and i love brown as you already understood if you read me carefully.

Once again, i wear my camel big purse from NYorker. I need to carry my whole life with me so this size fits me right :)

Ooops ! I almost forgot my lovely bracelet in coral tones with some cute shells motif on it. It is guess what...from NYorker :)

Cooking with dog some Napolitan

I once again tried a recipe from the great YouTube channel "Cooking with dog", a japanese cooking channel that i presented in this article.

By the way, here is Francis !

So this time, i have tried the "Napolitan".

As Ma'am Francis says at the beginning of the video, this is the only kind of spaghettis served in Japan.

It is a simple recipe which doesn't requires a lot of complicated ingredients. It doesn't take much time and it is extremely tasty :)) I loved it ! I didn't have parsley but well, it was good anyway.

Tadaaaa ! Here is the result!

Outfit of the day : symphony in blue and brown

I love deep blue. I rarely find the exact blue that i like but this time i was lucky ! I found my little blue top at NYorker. I put it in my pants but when you take it out, you can wear it with some leggings or even as a dress. I will show you later ;)

I paired it with some jeans from Pimkie ( love'em ) and a brown belt from Pimkie. I also put a brown balls necklace. I really like ethnic jewelry and it goes well with my type of skin and hair. I am an "autumn woman". I wear a wrist band in brown leather from M.

By the way, i will have to write an article about how to dress yourself with colours that fit your skintype and hairtype.

I also wear some flip-flops but i dont remember where i bought them... There is some blue and brown in their arrangement of colours.

I love these Pimkie Jeans !!! They fit so well! They have the right amount of elastic fibers and cotton. I think i will buy the same pair again, just because i love them so much !!!

I added, in case the weather turns a little it colder in the evening, a cardigan from NYorker in taupe. It is made in a very light fabric so it is perfect for summer evenings.

And of course, i took my New Yorker purse in camel. It looks a little bit browner on the first pic but you'll see the real colour better on the picture following this one .

And the final touch --> a NYorker hat in white ! I love it ! The sun was really hitting hard, it was cute and useful :)

I wish i had some orangy shoes but well, it goes well also with my flip flops.

Outfit of the day : ethnic romper

Here is my outfit of the day. I combined a Pimkie romper in black and some " ethnic " jewels from M and NYorker.

I love rompers since years for summer ! It is so cute and when the weather is really hot, and some wind blows suddenly, you appreciate to wear a romper :)

I paired it with my golden sandals from Bata, bought years and years ago.

Cooking with dog some Ichigo Daifuku

I am in love with some cooking YouTube channels and the one i will talk about today is the japanese channel " Cooking with dog". I have discovered it maybe one year ago. This recipe was the first one i tried. I have tried some others since but this one remains in my heart as the first " Cooking with dog" recipe i've ever tried.

I am addicted to the videos of this channel, really, I watch them, opened mouth, i go back, replay them, listening to Francis, "the host of this show", the grey cute poodle. The sound of cutting and frying "mixed well" to Mozart music is so delightful.

I enjoy the japanese words at the beginning and at the end.I enjoy the simple and clear way that the cooking process is explained. The recipes are so original for my european stomach. So many different tastes and ways to cook.

I have done some Ichigo Daifuku, some weeks ago and took some pictures of the result.

If you wanna try it too, click here and you will go directly on the video of this specific recipe.

If you wanna visit the YouTube channel "Cooking with dog" and hug my dear friend Francis, click here.

Don't forget to join the Facebook group! Click here to visit it.

GOOD LUCK IN THE KITCHEN !

Summer...summer - L'été, l'été

Summer is here ! And it is the "Music day" in France called " La fête de la Musique" with a big M ! So let's celebrate with the Pogues ( love'em) and their magical " Summer in Siam" which always makes me think about the movie Basquiat. The sound of the harp is so beautiful...

Something's got to give

I couldn't start a new blog without talking about Marilyn.

She inspires me, since I am a little girl.
The first time i saw her on the screen, i found her so beautiful and funny. Somehow, i could relate to her, even as a little girl. And that is what was magic about her i guess. I have read since, a lot of books about her, watched a lot of documentaries, videos, interviews... I have heard a lot of people talk about how they remember her. And something comes back often : she was a magical mix of a baby, a kid, a sweet girl and a woman, sexy, gorgeous, with a crazy body, a crazy face and a crazy voice.

Yes, we forget often about her voice but she had one of a voice. Like silk. And her laugh...

Here is a video from the YT channel --> http://www.youtube.com/user/MarilynMonroeOnline

"Marilyn Monroe costume test for her last and uncomplete movie 'Something's Got to Give' in 1962."

These images were kept unknow for sooo long, really. I have seen them some years ago. I don't remember well, maybe 5 years ago, maybe more. They had been kept hidden for soo long, for different reasons that i will not expose here, it would be too long. All i will say is that sometimes, propaganda lasts loong even after the object of it is dead.

So here is she, the gorgeous Marilyn Monroe

The quest for the perfect meatballs - A la quête de la boulette de viande parfaite

In my first article, i will talk about food. Food, food, food, my love, my one and only. I have a passion for food. I have spent years without cooking. My mother was THE cooker at home and maybe, i didnt want to follow the same path. She never taught me how to cook.

In my twenties, it suddenly came. I am not one of these people who are passionate about cooking since they are little kids. It came late for me. I guess it was there all the time, deep inside, but you know, each one has his own rythm and circumstances. Anyway i always loved to eat, that's for sure :)

It took me years to perfect that art. I am still a student in that and i think i will remain one my whole life.

During these years of practice, i have started a quest. The quest for the perfect meatballs. Oh hail, Lord of the meatballs, show us the way, the way to the middle-meat-earth and free us from the power of the meatballs by throwing them away back in the delicious tomatoe sauce they belong to :P

I have tried this one, from this site here.

This site contains a lot of recipes that i still have to try. They also have a YouTube channel.

Here is the video from which i got the recipe.

And here is my attempt to realise the Italian Meatballs or Polpette al sugo.

Cooking process : my cute meatballs are gently sleeping in their tomatoe sauce bath :)

Do you see this cute bubble?

The colour has changed, it is ready !

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaa !

Whoop there it is !

Let's add some parmesan cheese

A last shot at my babes before eating them :)

I wish you all good luck if you try to cook them. They were delicious. I only used one egg, even if 2 eggs are told to be used, ath the beginning of the video, when Alessandro gives us the list of ingredients.

I added a little bit of sugar ( juuuust a little bit) so that it is not too acid. Et voilà !

NB : i want to add that this recipe has been approved by my italian sexy friend Ste :P
